As a candidate for Oakland Park City Commissioner, I'm dedicated to serving our community with integrity and I am passionate about creating positive change. Oakland Park deserves a leader who listens and understands its unique needs. I'm dedicated to creating a thriving community where everyone feels safe, connected, and proud to call Oakland Park home.
PRIORITIES
EMPOWERING NEIGHBORHOODS
Being proactive and not reactive in providing neighborhoods a real voice to address their concerns - from traffic and public safety, to street lighting and sidewalks, to ensuring police patrols that make everyone feel safe at home.
INSPIRING PROGRESS
Leading Oakland Park into its second century by making it a destination city and not a drive-through city by refining our vision for the future. Continuing to be outspoken about intelligent growth that addresses our neighbors' needs, whether it's green spaces, safety, shopping availability, lower property taxes, and improved schools.
COMMUNITY FIRST
Putting the needs of Oakland park residents and businesses first through inclusivity with all our neighbors. Getting away from East side and West side rhetoric, while bringing quality opportunities for employment, obtainable housing and a better lifestyle in creating a stronger sense of one united Oakland Park.
DIVERSITY
Our community's strength lies in its diversity. I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every resident, regardless of background, feels valued and represented.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
I am dedicated to fostering a thriving business environment that supports local entrepreneurs and attracts new opportunities for economic growth in Oakland Park.
ENVIRONMENT
Protecting our environment is crucial for the health and prosperity of our city. I am dedicated to implementing sustainable practices and policies that preserve our natural resources and promote a greener, more resilient community.
